ENDURING UNDERSTANDING:Various reasons why people migrate and how explorations discoveries and migration is leading to newer understandings of the world thus reshaping it.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW :The effect of migration on the immigrant and the host country. Mapping skills and understanding geographical locations of places on 2D (maps) and 3D( globe).
WORTH BEING FAMILIAR:Different explorations, new settlements.

Assessment: From time to time the home room teacher will base formative assessment on written and oral work in the class. She will also assess the collaborative work done and the maintenance of student portfolio. A summative test will be conducted at the end of every inquiry.
