We the acorns of silver oaks find education as meaningful as life is! Our school makes use of
occasions, events and people as the content matter for learning beyond text books. We believe
that there is something to ‘learn’ from everything and everyone! Our school believes in revealing
new dimensions and opening new horizons or redefining practices to us!
We study through our own explorations and test our own knowledge through exams.
We treat exams as a ‘match’ where all our focus and accuracy are exhibited. We serve our home
planet through making it green and protecting it from all pollutants that would harm it’s existence.
We make the society around us better by being positive and proactive.
We ‘live life the lean way’ to ensure that resources are conserved.
We treat our rights and responsibilities as ‘give to get’.
The carpenter’s rule to ‘measure twice and cut once’ are golden words for us to think and act.
Besides the text books and resource books that we have in our learning process we have our
own book called ’Me & My Country’ which teaches us about bravery, courage, sacrifice,
collective responsibility & action, values, leadership qualities, freedom, patriotism, unity,
traditions, national pride, as we see it.
We practice and preach our own resolutions for a better society.
LKG to Grade X we are present perfect to be future ready!
A Day With the Leader
We the acorns of Silver Oaks The Leadership School aim at developing a leader in every one of us – the young students - who is going through the educational realms of our school.
We use the textbooks, our own curriculum, newspaper in the classroom, student centered methodology from IBO, 7 Habits of highly effective people as proposed by Dr Stephen Covey, resolutions for a better social-civic life, and all such practices that ensure our character and competence.
While making best use of the world around us to enlighten ourselves on how the world works, we are initiating a program called ‘A day with the Leader’ wherein one student from Grade X gets to spend a full working day with a leader in his/her office and learn different leadership styles practically.
How different challenges are dealt with, people relations, range of work activities and the dynamism required to deal with It - all such nuances of work life challenges that only leaders handle-is the experience we the budding leaders want to experience with.
