SPA Our Student Participatory Approach addresses several goals. The first goal includes the development and mastery of basic skills and knowledge that are appropriate for each grade level and subject area.

These basic skills and knowledge are identified in language arts, science, social studies, math and health.

The second goal is the focus on the whole child. Each student is accepted for who he is, at their own academic level of achievement and their ability to interact with other students.

Most of all students are encouraged to develop a sense of self. The curriculum includes components that address each student's needs.
