Living in the world's largest democracy and enjoying the liberty, equality and fraternity,we believe that our acorns have to be trained
from a young age into democratic ideals. Teaching them democracy as a concept may be a little abstract so we found a way of making
it real to them by making them participate in the running of the school. Training them into leadership skills and responssible roles along
with accountability is the objective behind having a student council.

When the new session starts in April, Elections are conducted for the student council. Canvassing, election symbols, public speeches,
posters, voting age, ballot box, polling, election supervisors, mark on the index finger, counting before the candidates, declaration of
results, swearing in ceremony are all the tools we use to teach democracy and electoral system at a micro level.

The council organizes the events, functions and regular procedings of the school with immense sincerity.
They represent the image of the school at all times.
